LS-DYNA Specialist – Jet & Cryogenic Systems
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Available)
Scope of Work
- Perform nonlinear dynamic analysis using LS-DYNA for jet engine and cryogenic systems.
- Evaluate structural performance under high thermal gradients, vibration, and shock loads.
- Support crashworthiness, blast, and bird-strike simulations for military-grade designs.
- Work closely with CFD and thermal teams for fluid-structure interaction (FSI) modeling.
- Optimize meshing and material models (composites, Ti alloys, Inconel, CFRP).
- Interpret simulation results and present engineering recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience using LS-DYNA for nonlinear analysis.
- Hands-on experience with hyperelasticity, plastic deformation, failure, and contact models.
- Familiarity with pre/post processors like ANSA, LS-PrePost, or HyperMesh.
- Solid understanding of FEM fundamentals and structural dynamics.
- Prior work on aerospace or defense projects is a strong plus.
- Experience with scripting (Python, MATLAB) for simulation automation is desirable.
Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be eligible to work on defense-related projects in India.

You will contribute to critical simulations for flight safety and survivability of aerospace systems. The work involves collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to refine structural concepts, validate crash-worthiness, and provide real-time feedback on material behavior under dynamic conditions.
