Structural Integrity Analyst – Jet & Cryogenic Engines
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Mode Available)
Scope of Work
We are looking for a Structural Integrity Analyst to lead the assessment of mechanical reliability, durability, and safety of structural components in both combat jet and cryogenic rocket engines. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating high-temperature, high-stress environments using advanced simulation and experimental data to ensure lifecycle compliance and mission readiness.
Nature of Work
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) on engine components under complex loading conditions
- Assess creep, fatigue, and fracture characteristics of turbine discs, nozzles, and casings
- Support design optimization with structural feedback and life estimation models
- Collaborate with thermal, fluid, and material teams for coupled simulations
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of component failures during rig or flight tests
- Document failure prediction, mitigation strategies, and certification reports
- Implement safety margins and military structural qualification standards
Job Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in structural analysis in aerospace, defense, or high-performance propulsion sectors
- Strong FEA skills using ANSYS, Abaqus, or Altair HyperWorks
- Experience in non-linear static/dynamic, thermal-mechanical coupled analysis
- Good understanding of material science, including superalloys and composites
- Familiarity with structural certification processes under MIL or ISRO standards
- Ability to generate clear, traceable analysis reports and interface with design and test teams
