Cost Analyst – Jet & Cryogenic Engine Programs

Scope of Work

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to join our finance and operations team, focused on budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling for our indigenous jet engine and cryogenic propulsion development programs. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure financial efficiency across the entire program lifecycle — from design and prototyping to testing and production.

Nature of Work

• Develop cost models for both recurring and non-recurring expenses
• Perform cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments across various engine subsystems
• Support pricing strategy and lifecycle cost projections
• Coordinate with engineering teams for cost estimation of new design iterations
• Track program expenditure vs. baseline budget using project finance tools
• Generate detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to audits, funding reviews, and vendor financial assessments

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost analysis, preferably in aerospace or defense programs
• Proficiency in financial modeling, cost tracking, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong understanding of lifecycle costing, project accounting, and CapEx/Opex modeling
• Comfortable working with cross-functional engineering and procurement teams
• Knowledge of MoD costing standards, DRDO/DPSU financial systems is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)

• Candidates with experience in aerospace, defense, or capital-intensive R&D industries preferred
