Interview Panel – Combat Jet & Cryogenic Engine Division
Location: Pune, India (On-Site or Hybrid)
Scope of Work
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Interview Panel responsible for talent evaluation and selection for our indigenous combat jet engine and cryogenic propulsion programs. The panel plays a critical role in maintaining technical excellence and strategic alignment in talent acquisition for engineering and R&D teams.
Nature of Work
- Participate in structured technical interviews for roles related to aero-thermal, mechanical, cryogenic, and systems engineering
- Contribute to the design and continual improvement of evaluation rubrics and question banks
- Assess candidate proficiency in core domains: turbomachinery, propulsion systems, CFD/FEM, controls, and cryogenics
- Coordinate with HR and engineering teams to define hiring requirements
- Mentor junior interviewers and ensure unbiased, diversity-driven assessment
- Support recruitment for industry collaborations and R&D fellowship programs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, Cryogenic, or Control Systems Engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience in aerospace propulsion, preferably in turbofan or cryogenic engine development
- Prior experience in technical recruitment or panel participation is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impartial, objective mindset with a focus on team fit and innovation potential
- Familiarity with Indian defense and aerospace talent landscape is a plus
Eligibility
- Indian nationals or NRIs with proven aerospace expertise
- Retired scientists or technical officers from GTRE, HAL, ISRO, DRDO, ADA, or similar agencies are encouraged to apply
- Individuals from private aerospace organizations with a strong track record in hiring, mentoring, and technical leadership
