Supplier Database Manager – Combat Jet & Cryogenic Engines Division

Scope of Work

As the Supplier Database Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing a centralized, scalable, and secure supplier database to support procurement and quality assurance efforts for our Combat Jet Engine and Cryogenic Propulsion Systems divisions. You will play a key role in qualifying vendors, tracking compliance, and ensuring data integrity for critical aerospace-grade components, materials, and services.

Nature of Work

• Create and maintain a detailed, real-time supplier database integrated with digital procurement systems
• Classify suppliers based on AS9100/ISO certifications, aerospace compliance, lead times, and material/process capability
• Evaluate and onboard suppliers through data collection, compliance checks, and internal audits
• Work closely with engineering and procurement teams to meet sourcing needs
• Track supplier performance metrics and generate periodic reports
• Facilitate digital integration and ERP connectivity (SAP, Odoo, etc.)
• Support Make in India objectives by identifying capable domestic vendors

Job Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech or MBA in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years experience in supplier management, procurement, or manufacturing ERP systems
• Proficiency in supplier qualification and audit frameworks (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP)
• Experience with ERP/CRM/database systems and strong Excel/SQL skills
• Strong understanding of aerospace materials, machining, casting, and additive manufacturing suppliers
• Knowledge of Indian and global vendor ecosystem for aerospace hardware
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Eligibility

• Indian nationals or OCI holders eligible to work in India
• Must be eligible for defense-related security clearance
• Preference to candidates with experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing ecosystems
