Digital Twin Analyst – Jet & Cryogenic Engines
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Available)
Scope of Work
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Digital Twin Analyst to develop and manage high-fidelity digital twin models of combat jet engines and cryogenic propulsion systems. This role involves integrating sensor data, physical simulations, and machine learning techniques to enhance performance prediction, failure detection, and lifecycle optimization.
Nature of Work
- Developing real-time digital twin models of turbomachinery and cryogenic engine components
- Integrating telemetry and sensor data streams into the digital twin environment
- Running component-level simulations (thermal, structural, flow, vibration)
- Collaborating with FADEC, thermal, CFD, and materials teams to align multi-physics models
- Employing machine learning algorithms to detect anomalies and predict system behavior
- Supporting test-bed integration and closed-loop simulations for validation
- Contributing to continuous improvement and modularity in digital twin architecture
Job Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Data Science, or Applied Physics
- Experience with simulation platforms like ANSYS, COMSOL, GT-SUITE, or Simulink
- Hands-on experience with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW for modeling and scripting
- Understanding of sensor fusion, Kalman filters, and system modeling
- Familiarity with engine health monitoring and prognostic techniques
- Strong data handling, visualization, and reporting skills
- Optional: Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or edge computing architectures
