Security Engineer – Jet & Cryogenic Engines Division

Scope of Work

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Engineer to lead the implementation and oversight of security infrastructure for our high-stakes jet propulsion and cryogenic engine programs. The role encompasses safeguarding intellectual property, preventing data breaches, and ensuring physical and digital protection of classified assets across our combat and cryo divisions.

Nature of Work

• Conduct cyber risk assessments for propulsion R&D systems, testbeds, and simulation platforms
• Design and enforce multi-layered access control, surveillance, and perimeter security measures
• Work with the FADEC, sensor, and digital twin teams to ensure embedded system security compliance
• Collaborate with DRDO and MoD agencies on classified program protocols and threat modeling
• Handle security audits, incident response drills, and digital forensics for secure engineering networks
• Establish and monitor firewall, intrusion detection, and DLP systems across engineering clusters
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for physical site security and employee data policies

Job Requirements

• B.Tech/B.E. in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline
• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure security or cybersecurity (defense/aerospace preferred)
• Knowledge of air-gapped systems, classified data protocols, and zero-trust architecture
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, Nessus, Metasploit, and Fortinet
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable
• Strong understanding of MIL-STD and ISO 27001 frameworks for defense applications
• Ability to handle red team / blue team evaluations, threat emulation, and patch management
• Effective communicator with cross-disciplinary collaboration skills

• Applicants must pass background verification and security clearance protocols
• Preference for candidates with prior experience in aerospace, defense R&D, or DRDO labs
