Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Available)

Scope of Work

We are seeking an AI/Control Systems Engineer to lead and implement advanced control algorithms and real-time embedded systems for combat jet engines and cryogenic rocket engines. You will also contribute to integrating AI-based prognostics, digital twin models, and adaptive control schemes into next-generation propulsion platforms.

Nature of Work

  • Development of FADEC software and hardware integration for gas turbines and cryogenic systems
  • Design and simulation of control loops for throttle response, temperature, and pressure regulation
  • Implementation of fault detection, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance using ML/AI techniques
  • Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing, real-time simulators, and embedded development platforms
  • Digital twin integration for mission simulation, data fusion, and optimization under edge constraints
  • Collaboration with hardware, thermal, and mechanical teams for closed-loop system validation
  • Optimization of system performance under extreme environmental and transient conditions

Job Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace, Electrical, Control Systems, or Computer Science Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in control systems design or AI integration in aerospace or automotive systems
  • Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C++ for control and signal processing
  • Hands-on with RTOS, embedded systems, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, or Ethernet-based systems
  • Experience with reinforcement learning, Kalman filters, or model predictive control (MPC)
  • Knowledge of aerospace propulsion systems is highly desirable (jet or cryogenic engines)
  • Exposure to digital twin platforms, telemetry, and sensor fusion frameworks
  • Strong analytical mindset and teamwork abilities

Eligibility

  • Indian nationals or those eligible to work in India
  • Motivation to work on next-generation aerospace technologies with high performance and safety demands
  • Research scholars or individuals with published work in AI for aerospace systems are encouraged to apply
