AI/Control Engineer – Jet & Cryogenic Engines
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Available)
Scope of Work
We are seeking an AI/Control Systems Engineer to lead and implement advanced control algorithms and real-time embedded systems for combat jet engines and cryogenic rocket engines. You will also contribute to integrating AI-based prognostics, digital twin models, and adaptive control schemes into next-generation propulsion platforms.
Nature of Work
- Development of FADEC software and hardware integration for gas turbines and cryogenic systems
- Design and simulation of control loops for throttle response, temperature, and pressure regulation
- Implementation of fault detection, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance using ML/AI techniques
- Support HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing, real-time simulators, and embedded development platforms
- Digital twin integration for mission simulation, data fusion, and optimization under edge constraints
- Collaboration with hardware, thermal, and mechanical teams for closed-loop system validation
- Optimization of system performance under extreme environmental and transient conditions
Job Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace, Electrical, Control Systems, or Computer Science Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in control systems design or AI integration in aerospace or automotive systems
- Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C++ for control and signal processing
- Hands-on with RTOS, embedded systems, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, or Ethernet-based systems
- Experience with reinforcement learning, Kalman filters, or model predictive control (MPC)
- Knowledge of aerospace propulsion systems is highly desirable (jet or cryogenic engines)
- Exposure to digital twin platforms, telemetry, and sensor fusion frameworks
- Strong analytical mindset and teamwork abilities
