Control Systems Engineer – Jet & Cryogenic Engines

Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Available)

Scope of Work

We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer with strong expertise in real-time embedded software, FADEC systems, and AI-based diagnostics for mission-critical aerospace applications. You will design, develop, and validate control strategies for high-performance turbofan and cryogenic propulsion systems, enabling safe, efficient, and autonomous operations for manned and unmanned platforms.

Nature of Work

  • Design and development of digital engine control logic (FADEC)
  • Model-based system design using MATLAB/Simulink and embedded code generation
  • Sensor and actuator interface software development
  • AI-based fault detection, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance algorithms
  • Embedded real-time systems integration using RTOS or bare-metal implementations
  • Validation and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing of control software on engine testbeds
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and software teams for complete system integration
  • Compliance with aerospace safety and redundancy protocols (DO-178C, ARP4754A)

Job Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace, Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics
  • 3+ years of experience in control systems development for aerospace, automotive, or robotics
  • Strong fundamentals in classical and modern control theory
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems (C/C++, Simulink, MATLAB, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with digital twins, HIL platforms, and sensor fusion algorithms
  • Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, ARINC, MIL-STD-1553
  • Understanding of aerospace-grade system safety, fault tolerance, and cyber-security
  • Experience with machine learning or reinforcement learning for control optimization is a plus
