DevOps Engineer – Software & AI for Jet and Cryogenic Engines

Location: Pune, India (Hybrid Preferred)

Scope of Work

Join our high-impact team working at the intersection of aerospace and artificial intelligence. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for establishing, automating, and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, secure infrastructure, and AI model deployment environments that power our advanced digital twins, real-time engine monitoring, and FADEC software platforms for fighter jet and cryogenic propulsion systems.

Nature of Work

  • Design and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure supporting digital twins, engine simulations, and control systems.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for code, simulations, and AI/ML model deployments.
  • Collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and embedded engineers to streamline releases and updates.
  • Ensure secure and scalable operation of containers and virtualized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Monitor and optimize system performance for real-time engine telemetry ingestion and FADEC operations.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Enable traceability and logging in compliance with aviation software standards.

Job Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electrical, Aerospace, or related fields.
  • 2+ years experience as a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration, Git, and scripting (Bash, Python).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Understanding of AI/ML model deployment (MLflow, ONNX, TensorRT pipelines is a plus).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and secure DevOps workflows.
  • Exposure to high-performance computing (HPC) and real-time systems is an advantage.

Eligibility

  • Indian nationals or foreign nationals eligible to work in India.
  • Passion for aerospace, mission-critical systems, and next-gen software infrastructure.
  • Prior work in aviation, space, or defense software projects is highly desirable.
  • Fresh graduates with strong DevOps internships and GitHub portfolios are encouraged to apply.
