Digital Twin Architect – Jet & Cryogenic Engines
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid / Remote Options Available)
Scope of Work
We are seeking a passionate and visionary Digital Twin Architect to lead the design and implementation of multi-physics digital twins and digital threads for next-generation combat jet engines and cryogenic propulsion systems. You will architect and manage end-to-end virtual representations of physical systems, enabling predictive maintenance, performance optimization, system simulation, and lifecycle management across real-time and historical data.
Nature of Work
- Design and integration of digital twin models for turbomachinery components (blades, shafts, combustors, actuators, sensors, etc.)
- Development of a scalable architecture for digital threads from design to in-service operation
- Integrating real-time sensor data with physics-based and AI/ML models
- Close collaboration with design engineers, FADEC teams, thermal and structural simulation experts
- Implementation of cloud-based monitoring systems and twin analytics dashboards
- Cybersecurity, data integrity, and reliability analysis for digital twin environments
- Involvement in closed-loop digital feedback systems for adaptive control and system tuning
Job Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical, Data Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in developing digital twin systems in aerospace, automotive, or high-precision domains
- Strong understanding of system modeling using tools like Modelica, MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS Twin Builder, or Siemens Twin
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, C++, JavaScript (Node.js)
- Experience with IoT data pipelines, OPC UA, MQTT, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Familiarity with digital twin standards such as DTDL, Asset Administration Shell, and SysML/UML
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-domain communication skills
Eligibility
- Indian nationals or those eligible to work in India
- Enthusiasm for high-performance engineering and AI-augmented design
- Experience in aerospace or defense sectors is highly preferred
- PhD holders or researchers in digital twin frameworks are encouraged to apply
